HECS-HELP
If you are a Commonwealth supported student, you may be eligible for a HECS-HELP loan to pay your student contribution amount for a unit of study in which you are enrolled. There are two forms of HECS-HELP assistance:
- a HECS-HELP loan - this is a loan from the Australian Government for all or part of your student contribution amount. You do not need to start repaying your HECS-HELP debt until your repayment income is above the minimum threshold of compulsory repayment.
- a HECS-HELP discount - If you pay all, or at least $500 of your student contribution amount for units with the same census date up-front, you will receive a 20% discount on the amount you pay.

FEE-HELP
If you are a domestic full fee-paying student, you may be eligible for FEE-HELP assistance.
FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth loan scheme that assists eligible students to defer payment of their tuition fees. FEE-HELP can cover all or part of a student's tuition fees, up to a lifetime limit of $50,000. The $50,000 FEE-HELP limit is indexed each year. A loan fee of 20% applies to FEE-HELP loans for undergraduate courses of study. The $50,000 FEE-HELP limit does not include the loan fee.
FEE-HELP is available for commencing and continuing students who meet the eligibility requirements from that time.
