“The hands-on law experience is invaluable. You just can't learn that stuff in a lecture ”

“I’ve always been interested in human rights, so I chose ECU for my law degree. The emphasis is definitely on law that makes a positive difference to society. I was also attracted by the smaller class sizes. It makes all the difference when you are tackling the more challenging concepts of law! But for me, the opportunity to get hands-on,
practical experience with alternate dispute resolution and community legal practice was more than I could resist. Not only is it exciting and engaging, it will put me in a better space to make a difference when I graduate.”

ECU Law student, Gabby Clarke.
