Student exchange program
Interested in studying in a different country, culture or university? Student Exchange Programs are available to all ECU students.
Eligibility
Undergraduate, Postgraduate and International students
- Completion of one year or more of your degree.
- Full time student. You may apply whilst part-time, however, must study full-time for the exchange program.
How much will it cost?
- Youth Allowance payments are available whilst on exchange.
- Tuition fees and HECS are paid to ECU.
- Your airfare.
- Approximately AUD$8000.00 for 6 months.
- Health and travel insurance for the duration of your stay overseas.
- Passport and Student Visa Costs
Steps to follow to go on exchange
- Email the Study Abroad and Exchange Office or call (08) 9273 8135
- Research your host institution, the units available, the housing options, the location etc.
- Negotiate with your course coordinator the credit you will receive for the units you study overseas
- Complete and submit an ECU Exchange Application Form plus with any additional forms as indicated by the StudyAbroad and Exchange Office Arrange an Interview time and date
