Applying

Semester One

Applications to commence an undergraduate course in Semester One generally need to be submitted to the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC), however this can depend on the specific entry pathway used.

You should apply through TISC if you:

And you:

  • Have never previously accepted or deferred an offer of a place at ECU;
  • Have never been previously enrolled at ECU; and
  • Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have been approved or granted permanent resident status

You should apply directly through our eAdmissions system if you:

  • Are or have previously been enrolled in an ECU course and now wish to change to another ECU course, and do not wish to apply for entry to another WA University course;
  • Have previously been enrolled or are currently enrolled in a tertiary institution and now wish to apply to ECU;
  • Seeking entry to either an undergraduate course or the UPC via our Portfolio Pathway; or
  • Are in your last semester of study towards a Certificate IV or higher qualification from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and wish to take up our Fast Track entry option.

Please note:

  • If you deferred your offer of place and now want to commence your course with us
    If you were offered a place at ECU within the last 6 – 12 months but deferred the offer, ECU will contact you to confirm your intention to commence your course
  • If you have previously been enrolled at ECU and now wish to resume that course
    You will need to complete an Application to Resume a Course (PDF, 93KB).
  • Prospective permanent residents
    If you are a prospective permanent resident you are are not eligible to apply through TISC until permanent residence status has been approved or granted. Until your permanent residency status is granted, you are considered an international student
  • WAAPA Applicants
    Applicants for courses at WAAPA should contact us to confirm whether a TISC application is required.

Semester two

Applications to commence an undergraduate course or University Preparation Course (including applicants seeking entry via our Portfolio Pathway) in Semester Two can be made through our eAdmissions system.

Not all ECU courses are available for mid year commencement, please refer to the mid year entry page for information on course availability.
