School Leavers
Overview
If you are a school leaver, under the age of 20 by March of the year you plan to study at University, there are several pathways you can use to gain admission into ECU:
Four or more TEE subjects
You should receive a TER (Tertiary Entrance Rank) in December of that year.
Your University Advice letter and TISC website account will contain general advice about your eligibility for University, please ensure you read this carefully.
A combination of TEE and Wholly School Assessed (WSA) subjects or only Year 12 WSA subjects
You may be eligible to enter ECU by one of our alternative entry pathways or via a University Preparation course:
- Portfolio entry
- University preparation courses
- University Preparation Course
- University Preparation Course (Education Assistant)
- Indigenous University Orientation Course (IUOC)
A specialised entry pathway for Australian Indigenous peoples
Another recognised group of school leaver tertiary entrance exams
If you are an interstate school leaver, recently arrived in Western Australia, who has completed a recognised group of school leaver tertiary entrance exams (such as the HSC), you should apply through the Tertiary Instiutions Service Centre (TISC).
