Countless career opportunities
Business courses aren't just for corporate high-flyers. A business degree can lead to careers in not-for-profit or public sectors and industries as diverse as mining, tourism, school management, fashion or agriculture.
No matter what they do, most organisations need an accountant, a manager or a marketing professional. Plus many business graduates put their skills to use as specialist consultants or in operating their own small business.
One of the best decisions I made career wise was studying business at ECU.
Not only has it enabled me to develop my theoretical skills, it has provided me with the opportunity to make some life long friends and contacts who are either in a similar career or have the same aspirations.
My current role at Unisys West as manager of service delivery and projects is the most exciting I have had since entering the workforce. I truly believe that my postgraduate studies at ECU have helped me get to where I am and will be one of the driving forces of my career.

Award winning graduates
Each year ECU sees many of its business graduates acknowledged in the WA Business News 40 Under 40 Awards.
In 2007 Geoffrey Mather, Chief Financial Officer at RAC Group, took out one of these prestigious places. The award recognised the outstanding achievements of a West Australian business person who has had an impressive career - and all before the age of forty.
